- This form of reasoning is a fallacy itself. For one, the RCC
- claims to be guided by god, and when one looks at history, one
- sees atrocities beyond comprehension done by the RCC in the
- name of its god. The conclusion is that either the claim of guidance
- is wrong or the guidance is not worth much. Note that both results
- are not compatible with the doctrine of the RCC.

- And secondly, the chain of events started by the teachings of Jesus
- is good reason to doubt its content. Someone who is god, omnipotent,
- all-loving, and all knowing should have better not started that. Apart
- from that he blatantly failed at ensuring that his message got across
- to everyone.
