- I fully support the idea of a limited number of articles in a group
- with the purpose of promoting scholarly interchange. Twelve may be
- the correct number in Oxford, but I think that a more appropriate
- limit would be to the number of topics (threads) to which any author
- could contribute in one day, and I think a more appropriate number
- is smaller, two or three per day. I would expect the quality of the
- contributions to increase significantly above its present level, and
- I would also expect to spend less time weeding than I do now.
