  14. Yes, I stand corrected- Einstein did believe in future cause in a certain
  15. sense - though not in spacelike action (he began to change in mind before he
  16. died). His position was not quite consistent perhaps since spacelike action
  17. implies future cause.

  34. It appears that Jack got this a bit out of kilter.

  36. There's an article in Physics Essays (vol 3, No. 4, 1990) titled "The
  37. Ritz-Einstein Agreement to Disagree" which is about a battle dealing with
  38. Einstein's steadfast defense of future cause (advanced potentials) in the
  39. face of Ritz's onslaught for a new kind of electrodynamics and
  40. thermodynamics in which only retarded effects (past cause) exist.
