- I have been wondering what tools are typically used in preparing math
- textbooks that contain 3D graphs, such as Multivariable Calculus texts.
- Mathematica just doesn't seem to do the job. What I particularly want is
- the ability to graph multiple equations in 3 variables. The ability to
- graph the intersection of such equations, or the solid enclosed by them,
- would really be nice.
-
- I know such tools must exist, because I see the results in textbooks all
- the time. Do any exist for the Macintosh or PC? If so, how do I get them?
-
- Please respond by E-mail. Thanks in advance.
