- The main problem with this sort of split is that it leaves out a LOT of
- interesting areas in math. What about topology? Differential geometry?
- Algebra? (Not baby algebra, grownup algebra.) Etc..

- As usenet continues its rapid growth people *will* have to address the
- issue of expanding newsgroups. I hope people develop more intelligent
- newsreaders. You might also check sci.physics, where we are trying to
- set up sci.physics.research and are hoping it gets more traffic than
- sci.math.research.
