  30. Just to clear things up a bit, MY only contribution is to say that people
  31. who don't know how hard it is to get through undergraduate school without 
  32. enough money should shut up and quit saying "let them eat cake."

  34. Some of us DID have to do without food, movies, beer (yes, even I), going home 
  35. (or anywhere) during spring break, phone calls, laundry soap, condoms, etc.   
  36. When we say so, it is extremely arrogant to say that it is "nonsense" or  
  37. "ridiculous".

  39. We are not complaining about our LOT.  What we resent are COMMENTS that  
  40. belittle or dismiss our effort, especially by folks who really have no idea  
  41. what it's like to spend a week on a deserted campus during spring break or
  42. Thanksgiving.
