  14. Could anyone recommend good books on electrical wiring (for a house,
  15. etc)?

  17. I would like to get one that have good illustrations and conforms to
  18. some standard code (if there is such a standard).  I realize there may
  19. be local variations to the code.  I am interested in learning the proper
  20. techniques and having a reference for making electrical improvements in
  21. my house.
