- Copper deposition is definately possible, but the process I have seen
- would be out of the reach of most people.
-
- A company called Lintek here on Australia can "grow" a pcb pattern on
- just about any substrate, 2 or 3 dimensional. They do this by depositing
- a layer, suitably masked, by plasma deposition in a vacuum. The accuracy
- is almost unbelievable, I have seen a board with five traces emerging
- from between two adjacent ic pins. Once the vapor deposition is done the
- traces are "grown" to the required thickness by electroplating. I wish I
- had thought of it !
