- Looks like an ASIC to me. It's probably a mask-programmed CPU core with
- tiled glue-logic scattered around it. Check any of the major CPU makers
- for standard-cell . That's probably what they're using.

- By the way, if you're trying to hack it to change the ESN, don't. My
- wife, who sells cellphones for a living, was telling me about some of
- the interesting new ways they have to detect illegal reprogramming, and
- the delight they take in tracking down such folks.

- If it's just blown, and you're trying to do a cheap fix, I think you're
- out of luck. Unless you want to reverse-engineer it and buy 100K pieces.
