  11. Not much software uses that middle button, though it is defined in
  12. the protocol.  The only thing in recent memory I can think of is
  13. Rix 2005 paint program.  I don't use that any more, but I think it
  14. was used to nail down the corners of a polygon or something like
  15. that.  You can emulate the third button by chording the L and R
  16. buttons on the two button mouse; that might be handled by the
  17. driver.o
