- I know, it's really a clause in the subject line, but I think it gets the
- point across.

- I maintain a small FM radio station, and we have many conductive plastic
- potentiometers in our mixing boards. These things are fairly expensive.
- They get noisy after a while, but if I take them apart and clean/lubricate
- them, they never feel nearly as smooth as they did before. I've tried using
- "Big Bath" from ECG, and some other chemical from ECG that said "Cleans and
- lubricates potentiometers." I haven't taken apart any of the expensive slide
- pots yet as they haven't caused any problems, but the rotary pots have.
