- Hi,
-
- I have a question that someone out there may know the
- answer to...
-
- What effect would inverting the color burst do? (180 out of
- phase)?? Would the colors be "Backward"?? making a light
- brown color a green color?? (Like with inverse video)?
-
- I (Like some others I have spoken to) use the Universal
- Descrambler on a non-scrambled channel, and get good, accurate
- color, but when a scrambled chanell is tuned in, the collors
- are incorrect (Faces look green). I have noticed that when
- the vertical lock is NOT correct, the color's sometimes are
- correct. I have also noticed that if the polarity of the
- video is reversed (Neg/pos) even though the images are
- reversed, the color is correct.
-
- My idea was to put the color burst 180 out of phase (This can
- be done with the spare NAND and spare 4053 (to make it
- selectable)) but before I try, I wanted to know if anyone out
- there had any better ideas? or for some reason thinks I am not
- on the right track.
-
- Marc.
-
- P.S. I am talking about the Radio Electronics May 1990
- "Universal Descrambler".
