- You probably want to buy a scope that has a single shot capability of no
- less than 50 Mhz. You will be better off with a digital storage scope that
- allows you to capture the waveform, pan along a stored image, change the
- timescale of a scaled image and do advanced triggering. Do NOT consider a
- high frequency scope that has a bad single shot figure, you will be
- disapointed. If you are interested in looking at rise/fall time/undershoot/etc
- than the higher the better. I work for HP so I am only exposed to our stuff.

- Consider this:
-
- HP 54504A HP 54505B HP 54506B
- -repetive 400 Mhz 300 MHz 300 MHz
- -singe shot 50 Mhz 125 Mhz 125 MHz
- -channels 2 2 4
- -price $6750 US $8350 US $13990 US
-
- I have taken this info out of HP's 1993 Catalog. I do not quarantee it's
- correctness.
-
- Good luck, Brad Siim
