Tim,
Most major semiconductor manufacturers are now offering their catalogs
on computer disks(most of the ones I've seen have been on 5.25" floppies).
If you write to them I'm sure that they would gladly send you a set of disks
free of charge. Also, you might find some reader response cards in your majorelectronic trade magazines(EDN is one that comes to my mind) where all you have to do is circle the number of an article or ad featuring this kind of
product. Send in the card and, through the magazine, the manufacturer will
send you either information on the product or a sample of the product, or
both. Ibuilt a complete catalog library and started a computer based library
for semiconductors for my former employer using this method.
I hope this helps you, Tim. If you have any questions just leave a
message for me here and I'll see what I can do to help.
