- Hey, I am trying to fix this VCR and I have concluded that the video heads
- must be worn down (the only way the picture is clear is if I put a lot of
- back tension on the tape -- so much so that the sound starts to be effected).
-
- So I found where I can get a pretty cheap replacement head. The problem is
- I can't get the !@#$%^&* thing off!! I unscrewed the two screws on top and
- pulled and it just doesn't come off. There is even an allen screw underneath
- but THAT didn't help. I don't see what all these screws are for if removing
- them doesn't effect anything! Do I need a special tool for this or something?
- Or do I have to pull the whole head assembly out? Its a SYLVANIA VC2234SL01.

- Ben.
