- I assume you are referring to "Electronic Filing" (if you are in the US.)

- The answer is no. No encryption. See IRS pub 1345 or 1346 or 1453 for
- details. (I don't remember which -- call the IRS forms number, ask for the
- "practitioner gate", and ask which of those is the requirements for
- electronic transmitters.)
