  13. The Original Bottom Scratchers still exist.  Five surviving members still
  14. live in the San Diego area and get together on occasion.  Other clubs in
  15. the area sometimes get the treat of these guys coming by for a talk where
  16. they show old pictures and equipment and tell great fish stories about
  17. how our local waters used to be for fish, lobster, and abalone hunting.

  19. I don't think they are doing much diving.  They aren't what one would
  20. call a really active club at this point.
