- Our council also has Council sponcered summer camps. These camps are three
- nights for the younger boys and five for the Webelos. These camps are the
- exception to the parent & Cub type campouts.

- An other reason, for having the parents along, is it teaches the parents that
- they can go camping and survive. This makes them more likley to help out with
- the troop when their son moves on. Both of our Pack's first year Webelos dens
- went to Webelos Woods this fall. Two of the parents were supprised to find out
- that camping isn't fatal. (Only one boy wouldn't have stay at night if his
- mother hadn't been their.)
