  11. Thanks, Buck, for correcting my faux pas.  As I said, I'm not a roller
  12. coaster person.  I guess I should blush, being about two miles from the Leap
  13. the Dips.

  15. As I recall, the carousel that used to be at Lakemont Park was being
  16. considered for National Historic Landmark status when it was carted off to
  17. GodKnowsWhere.  Forgive me if I put little faith in the Blair County powers
  18. that be.

  20. I do see a glimmer of hope in the America's Industrial Heritage Project.
  21. It's trying to preserve the blue-collar cultural heritage of the
  22. area--railroading, mining, and steel making.  Cross your fingers.
