- I'm new to reading rec.models.scale, and I've got a question
- for those of you who built car models. Recently I completed a Fujimi
- kit of a Honda CRX. My problem is,...how does one go about making
- the headlights appear more realistic. At the time, I painted the
- plastic on the body behind the clear plastic lense with plain old
- silver enamel paint......with poor results. Real headlights seem to
- have an aluminum back too them, but most newer cars have this whiteish
- look to them. Next time I was going to try Bare-metal foil behind
- the lense, but if anyone has got a better idea I'd like to hear it.
