- The February '93 issue of Model Railroader reviewed the new Badger
- Accu-Flex paints. Their review was quite positive, to say the least:
-
- The release of a new line of model paints doesn't tend to cause
- much celebration. Singing and dancing are usually reserved for a
- new locomotive or *maybe* a good freight car. However, a few
- minutes of ``playing'' with Badger's new Accu-Flex line of acrylic
- paints impressed me more than if someone had shown me an N scale
- locomotive with a working diesel engine.
-
- It's quick-drying, sticks well, dries quickly, has very thin coats, and
- doesn't need a primer even on metal. The reviewer does note that one
- should clean the airbrush immediately after use -- and with water, not
- lacquer thinner -- trying that results in a ``gummy mess''.
