- I was just at the International Modelers Show in Pasadena over the weekend
- as an exhibitor, and there was a booth for a French made turbine jet down
- the aisle. They had one you could actually touch and a video tape of
- actual planes flying it. Cute engine. Somewhere around 14" to 16" long,
- and maybe 8" wide? As I remember, about $4000 would get you into one
- of them, and a fellow I talked to was putting TWO into his Phantom 4.
- Watching the video reminded me of watching Wings on the cable. The jets
- took a LONG time to get off the runway, but once they were in the air the
- performance was awesome. And the SOUND!! Worth the money IMHO.
- I belive they did(will do) a feature on it in RCM magazine.
