- You adjust the timing of the electrical motors by turning the backplate (with the
- brushes) one way or the other. When you turn it against the rotation direction (i
- think) you advance the timing and increase rpm. Just like increasing the
- pre-ignition (yeah i know great english) on an 1:1 scale auto engine.
- If you increase the timing to much the motor becomes very hot, and the
- life-expectancy goes down. The trick is to find the optimum power vs economy
- setting
