- I've never seen a P-82 kit. I've seen several built from two P-51 kits. If
- you do that, be sure to find some of the drawings for both the P-82 and P-51.
- You will discover that although they look alike, the P-82 fuselage(s) is
- quite different from the P-51 fuselage in size and shape. People mistakenly
- believe the P-82 was built from two P-51s side by side. In reality, the P-82
- was completely redesigned from the P-51.

- RCM ran some drawings a year or so ago, comparing the fuse outlines of both
- the P-51 and P-82. It was surprising to see the difference!
