  12. The oil light on my '86 Toyota Tercel comes on after a few minutes of
  13. starting the car in the morning or when it is cold. It comes on when I
  14. press the brakes and take my foot off the gas pedal. However, when I
  15. lightly press the gas pedal, the light goes away. Also, if I put the
  16. gear to N or P (it is an automatic transmission), the light either goes
  17. away or flickers. The problem goes away after I drive around for a while.

  19. Also, a light vibrating noise comes from the rear underside of the car
  20. (the muffler ?) when the engine is cold started. This noise also goes
  21. away when I press on the gas pedal. I have put a new muffler, but the
  22. noise still remains.

  24. Please advise on what is causing this and what needs to be done.
