  14. The responses I've gotten in the past have been right-on, so I
  15. was wondering if I could get an opinion on a new problem:

  17. My car seems to vibrate badly when accelerating and decelerating
  18. at speeds over 25MPH.  Especially decelerating.  It vibrates in 
  19. normal driving at speeds 25...65 MPH and at 80+ MPH.  Shifting into 
  20. neutral (at highway speed) and varying engine speed does not change 
  21. the vibrations.

  23. Is this the driveshaft?  Or an engine mount?  Are these difficult
  24. to replace (no engine removals...).  Will ignoring the problem for
  25. six months/5000 mi. cause any sudden failure?  I have driven 900 
  26. highway miles since this condition appeared.  It has not gotten 
  27. worse.

  29. The car is an '80 Plymouth Gran Fury, 318cu.
