  23.    Please tell me if I'm wrong, but the impression I got after 
  24. taking the chem class that all mech engineering students have to 
  25. take is that sugar doesn't dissolve in gasoline.  I even tried it 
  26. at home and the sugar just sat at the bottom of the beaker.
