- I have an '89 Grand Caravan LE with the woodgrain sides. I wash and wax the
- paint, but have never done more than wash the woodgrain trim. It still
- retains its shine. None of the Chrysler documents (shop manual, owner's
- manual) indicate doing any more than that.

- The clear plastic covering on the trim cap pieces on my Caravan are doing
- this, although none have come off. Water gets under the plastic cover when
- it rains or the vehicle gets washed. It is only noticeable under close
- inspection though. When not on the raod, the vehicle has been garaged, so I
- guess the separation is more time related than exposure related.
