  14. I do not know much about car repair and thought I'd try to access the
  15. power of the net. Any help would be appreciated.

  17. A friend has an old big car. The brakes are not working effectively.
  18. The mechanic said that the rotor needs to be replaced and the cost
  19. would be around $200.

  21. Someone told me today that rotor replacement is a sham and replacing
  22. the brake shoes/pads would do the job. That would cost around $50.
