- Hi,
-
- I do not know much about car repair and thought I'd try to access the
- power of the net. Any help would be appreciated.
-
- A friend has an old big car. The brakes are not working effectively.
- The mechanic said that the rotor needs to be replaced and the cost
- would be around $200.
-
- Someone told me today that rotor replacement is a sham and replacing
- the brake shoes/pads would do the job. That would cost around $50.
-
- Any views/suggestions about what should be done?
-
- Thanks.
