  17.     I have a short in my cruise control. Every time I 
  18. try to turn it on I smell a burning scent. The cruise does
  19. not engage. The car is a chevy cavalier. Has anyone experinced this 
  20. and/or does anyone know how to fix or troubleshoot this problem.
  21. I have never dealt with cruise control before and I do not have a
  22. manual for it.
