  12.     The symptoms sound a little like fuel percolation but it sounds like
  13. it happens even when the engine is cold so that would be out. Have you
  14. checked the float level? I guess that you changed the float valve and
  15. seat when you did the rebuild but it sounds like the residual pressure
  16. in the fuel line might be forcing gas past the float valve into the
  17. float chamber and then overflowing into the carb throat. It may be worth 
  18. checking for a bad float valve.
