- The symptoms sound a little like fuel percolation but it sounds like
- it happens even when the engine is cold so that would be out. Have you
- checked the float level? I guess that you changed the float valve and
- seat when you did the rebuild but it sounds like the residual pressure
- in the fuel line might be forcing gas past the float valve into the
- float chamber and then overflowing into the carb throat. It may be worth
- checking for a bad float valve.
