- I'm not familiar with this company, its engines or its claims, but the
- German (?) firm Deutz produces air-cooled diesels with very good
- reputations. They have even demonstrated that some of their
- air-cooled diesels are quieter than corresponding water-cooled models.
- I have worked with some of these engines in medium-size portable
- generators and air compressors, and also saw a lot of them powering
- large dump trucks in Chile a few years ago. My impression was that
- they were quiet, efficient, and powerful.
