- it is -plausable-, inasmuch as diesals, when idling, use a lot less fuel
- than gasoline engines, and thus ahve to get rid of less heat. at highway
- speeds, of course, you don't need cooling since the air is rushing by at a
- high rate.

- those of us getting a bit long in years remember the air cooled volkswagon
- beetles (and hippie wagons, but that's another story).
