  12. selection of rec.autos.*

  14. We're looking to buy a 92/93 Pajero, and there are
  15. 3 additional packages which can be added:
  16.  
  17. 1) Deluxe - sunroof, powerwindows etc
  18. 2) Performance - variable shocks, rear differential etc
  19. 3) ABS Brakes
  20.  
  21. All three packages are separately priced, but the salesman tell
  22. us that to get the Performance Package you must also have
  23. the ABS package.

  25. Is this true?
  26. Why would they price things separately if you can't buy them
  27. separately.  It's not like a Japanese manufacturer to do that?

  29. Are we being scammed?  The ABS is 2x the price of the performance
  30. package.
