  24. My Buick 3.8L with knock sensor also, I lost 2 mpg local driving. 
  25. When I tried 89 octane, I get 1 mpg more. No significant performance
  26. difference. (May be my imagination, but it is a touch better.)

  29. On Highway from LI (Oxy. gas) to Buffalo I got 21 mpg. Buffalo I
  30. filled up with non-Oxy. I get 23+ on the way back.

  33.    i know that a properly tuned designed-for-87-octane engine without
  34.    knock sensor should not benefit from super unleaded.
  35.    but as an experiment i am running super unleaded in both hondas now.
  36.    on the 91 hatchback, there is a noticable power increase with 
  37.    the super oxy as opposed to the normal 87 octane oxy fuel.  
  38.    is this the placebo effect?  has anyone out there tried this?

  43. I wonder, if car manuefactuers tuned the car's computer for Oxy gas,
  44. would MPG and performance return?
