  19. Perhaps you could tell us when Clinton promised to send his daughter to
  20. public school?  I miss this one.

  22. Whether or not a First Daughter is sent to public school has nothing at
  23. all to do with Clinton's public school policy.  Chelsea is going to a
  24. school that can accommodate children of high-profile officials.  Even
  25. if the White House were in Beverly Hills, a special school would still
  26. be appropriate.  My daughter's public school classroom, for one, could
  27. not function if staked out by Secret Service people, and wouldn't know
  28. what to do with hungry media folks hanging around the steps.

  30. I applaud Clinton for not turning his daughter into a symbol at the
  31. expense of making Washington DC public school into a circus.
