  13. We are new parents with a 5-month son and are in need of either day-care
  14. or a live-in nanny. My wife needs to free herself up some  so that she can 
  15. either work or take some time to attend to her personal interests.

  17. We would appreciate suggestions/advice from experienced parents on the
  18. pros/cons (cost, quality of care, loss of privacy, etc.)  of day-care 
  19. vs. live-in nanny (or other arrangements).  Also, we would welcome any 
  20. referrals for either day-care (we live near Sunset High School) or live-in
  21. nannies.
