  19. It is just off the freeway between Grants Pass and Medford.  Like many other
  20. places around the country (e.g. Confusion Hill on US 101 South of Garberville
  21. CA), this place rakes in the dough by providing viewers with a "natural
  22. phenomenon" implemented though a collection of carefully (or not so carefully)
  23. constructed forced perspectives that give the viewer the impression that the
  24. laws of gravity are somehow being violated.  The Oregon Vortex in particular is
  25. located at the site of an old ore assay office from the last century.  One
  26. corner of the build has fallen 12 feet and there are various stations around the
  27. grounds which exhibit peculiar perception tricks.
