- It is just off the freeway between Grants Pass and Medford. Like many other
- places around the country (e.g. Confusion Hill on US 101 South of Garberville
- CA), this place rakes in the dough by providing viewers with a "natural
- phenomenon" implemented though a collection of carefully (or not so carefully)
- constructed forced perspectives that give the viewer the impression that the
- laws of gravity are somehow being violated. The Oregon Vortex in particular is
- located at the site of an old ore assay office from the last century. One
- corner of the build has fallen 12 feet and there are various stations around the
- grounds which exhibit peculiar perception tricks.
