  12. I have been considering buying a Corvus Karaoki ($149) which use VHS 
  13. tapes.  The unit comes with 6 tapes and more are available for
  14. $20 each (by mail).  I am considering coordinating a group buy where we 
  15. could buy tapes and then pass them around.  I'm not proposing
  16. illegal copying (don't even know whether that would work) but
  17. I am proposing an alternative to renting (since I haven't been
  18. able to locate those tapes for rental).  I suggest that each
  19. member interested contribute money to buy one tape and then
  20. would receive a list of tapes in our library.  He/she can then
  21. pay shipping to borrow any tapes that have interest (one at a
  22. time, or contribute for two and receive them two at a time).

  24. What do folks think of the plan?  Any interested parties?  I have
  25. first interest in the 50's/60's tapes.
