  14. I've got some transceivers, thick to twisted pair ethernet, I'd like to
  15. clear out.  This sort of thing retails for $90 Canadian, wholesale
  16. $60 Canadian, but I got them for quite a bit less than that.
  17. So, while that's the range I think would be fair, I'll take a best offer,
  18. as long as it doesn't go below what I paid for them.
  19. How I got them is I went to an auction and happened to see them there.
  20. I needed one, but ended up with 20.  I'm told they're new, off the
  21. shelves of a dealer who went under.  I've plugged one of them into a 
  22. sun ipc, and it works fine.

  28. IEE 802.3 10baseT (mau)
  29. has a "SQE TEST SWITCH (HEARTBEAT)" dip switch, and four lights-
  30. link, sqe test, polarity, and power.

  32. I also ended up with one 10base2, thick to thin transceiver.
  33. Different make, but looks unused.  Well, I mean, what's a used
  34. transceiver look like?  All I can say is it doesn't look like it's
  35. been used in a rugby game.

  37. I'll take trades for hardware or software too- I'm interested in
  38. hardware:
  39. - pocket ethernet adapter
  40. - compaq lte286 power supply
  41. - compaq lte286 battery
  42. - scsi/ide harddrives
  43. (obviously for the above, I'd have to trade some number of transceivers
  44. for the item)
  45. - I don't know, make a offer!

  47. software:
  48. - scsi tape drive backup software for the pc - adaptec 1542 controller.
  49. - pc games for an xt with hercules monochrome graphics.
  50. - winfax pro 3.0/2.0
  51. - fortran, pascal or c for the mac
  52. - well, that's all I can think of for now.
