  11. I'm contemplating selling my home system to buy a comparable
  12. notebook computer.  Below is a detailed description, so please
  13. read through it if you are in the market for a POWER system!
  14. (This is not a 'beginner's system' - this is a fast, powerful
  15. system which has great expansion potential!)
  16. If I get any offers that I like - it's gone!

  19. - 485DX/50, 256KB cache (real DX chip, NOT a DX2!)
  20.      - motherboard U.S. made, still has about 1.5 years left on warranty
  21.      - AMI BIOS, Symphony chipset
  22. - 16MB RAM (4MB - 70ns, 12MB - 80ns) (64MB max allowable on motherboard)
  23. - 160MB SCSI-2 drive (13ms access)
  24. - Adaptec 1542B SCSI controller card 
  25.      - has the latest ROM BIOS/microcode chips and latest ASPI drivers
  26. - 3.5" and 5.25" floppy drives
  27. - ATI Graphics Ultra accelerated video card (1MB VRAM)
  28.   (still under warranty)
  29. - 14" IBM 8515 monitor (up to 1024x768 interlaced, 0.28 dot pitch)
  30. - 1 parallel/2 serial ports (one COM port has a 16550AFN UART chip)
