  25. Although, I don't know the arrangement between you two, I can suggest
  26. a couple of reasonable explanations:

  28.     1)  Postes Canada is notoriously slow with mail coming from and
  29.         going to the states.  I've gotten mail quicker from
  30.         half-way around the world than a hundred miles away, across
  31.         the border.   Typical delivery time is anywhere from
  32.         4 - 10 working days.

  34.     2)  They seem to go on strike about once every year or so.

  36.     3)  Canadian customs may have hit him with a hefty duty on
  37.         those chips.  They *will* open and inspect packages and
  38.         charge duty on anything that looks like it might be
  39.         commercial.

  42.   These are just some observations from someone who used to live there
  43. a few years ago.  I'd move back in a second if they'd eliminate the
  44. GST and the economy wasn't so lousy.
