- Although, I don't know the arrangement between you two, I can suggest
- a couple of reasonable explanations:

- 1) Postes Canada is notoriously slow with mail coming from and
- going to the states. I've gotten mail quicker from
- half-way around the world than a hundred miles away, across
- the border. Typical delivery time is anywhere from
- 4 - 10 working days.

- 2) They seem to go on strike about once every year or so.

- 3) Canadian customs may have hit him with a hefty duty on
- those chips. They *will* open and inspect packages and
- charge duty on anything that looks like it might be
- commercial.

- These are just some observations from someone who used to live there
- a few years ago. I'd move back in a second if they'd eliminate the
- GST and the economy wasn't so lousy.
