- I'm not really sure. Apparently the ink is contained within the glass
- tube
- that is inserted in front of the pull switch. Once the glass tube
- breaks, the
- ink flies. It probably is reasonably priced, considering that we charge
- for
- every false alarm (except the first one) that occurs in a calendar
- month.
- Alarms two - four are $25.00, five - eight $50.00, eight+ $100.00. If
- there is
- an actual fire, we don't charge for the call. I know we dropped in
- false calls
- to several dorms that had these installed. I'll see if I can get a
- price.
