- I just think they're a pain in the neck, but that is not really a
- technical problem. My personal opinion is that speaker mics are for
- using the portable in a car attached to an external antenna and power
- supply so you don't have to try and pick it up with cables hanging.

- I do have a question, though. Our Fire Brigade uses MT-1000s and
- nobody has a manual (?!) so we don't know how to use the SCAN feature.
