- The main problem I can see with using a finger tip device to measure
- blood pressure is that as soon as the patient goes into any type or
- degree of shock, you won't get a reading. Finger tip devices are at
- best, maybe useful for people who don't know how to use a BP Cuff &
- Stethescope and have no intention of ever measuring the BP of any injured
- or sick person. If you don't need the top of the line model, you can get
- a BP cuff and stethescope for less than the $80-$100. That would be my
- recommendation.
