- I seem to recall someone posting that one effect Perot made to education
- was that no one could really flunk, and that the idea was to keep people in
- the same grades, if possible. That person suggested that it was not such
- a good idea because he wasn't able to tailor the teaching to the needs
- of the student, partly because people in one grade (like the fourth) had
- to all use the same text for reading.
