  30. The proper thing to do is ask the conference chairman. If he says it is OK
  31. then it is OK. The responsibility for guaranteeing an impartial reviewing
  32. system rests with the conference chairmen. It is their responsibility to
  33. consider your bias (after you bring it to their attention.). If you made
  34. your advisor aware of the conflict of interest and he said that you should
  35. still review the papers, do so. It is likely that were your review out of
  36. line with those of the other referees, your bias would be taken into account.
