- As someone who has purchased a lot of prerecorded movies, trust me when I
- say -- you get what you pay for. The so-called "bargain" movies that you
- buy for $9.99 are almost always inferior to other movies selling for a higher
- price. These cheaper tapes are usually recorded in LP mode on the poorest
- quality tape possible. For a casual viewer, this would probably be OK,
- but for the "video connosieurs" it is unacceptable.

- McDonald's would like you to think that they are selling you first quality
- tapes through a special arrangement with the manufacturer. And it may be
- true. But I wouldn't be surprised a bit if the tapes are inferior. In the
- same manner that most people are satisfied by a mediocre burger, so will they
- be satisfied by a mediocre-quality videotape.
