- I've seen this happen quite a few times at grocery stores - a person will
- grab a bag of Chee-tos or chips off the shelf and eat it while shopping.
- When they get to the cash, they show the empty (or partially eaten) bag to the
- cashier and she rings it up. No problem. I suspect you're not *really*
- supposed to do this, but as long as you pay for it before leaving, the store
- likely wouldn't object too strongly.
