  27. Asbestos is an excellent fire retardant and has hundreds
  28. of useful applications even though it is a known 
  29. carcinogen.  There are little if any use for second 
  30. hand smoke

  56. More than one dozen hospitals in the Chicago area have recently
  57. gone under, due in large part to late and reduced reimbursement 
  58. from the State of Illinois for services provided.  Many pharmacies are 
  59. about 6 months behind in getting reimbursed from the State and are also
  60. dropping like flies.  Last summer the State suspended payments to
  61. school districts for one month.   Imagine the nerve of
  62. Gov. Edgar in taking a few dollars away from a 
  63. motorcycle education program!
