- Isn't saccharin still sold (with a warning)?
- The better comparison is with asbestos.
- Second hand smoke loses in this comparison.
- Asbestos is an excellent fire retardant and has hundreds
- of useful applications even though it is a known
- carcinogen. There are little if any use for second
- hand smoke

- HISTORICAL NOTE:
- Nazis are not known for their concern for life.
- Protection of Life Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness

- Imagine that!
-
- More than one dozen hospitals in the Chicago area have recently
- gone under, due in large part to late and reduced reimbursement
- from the State of Illinois for services provided. Many pharmacies are
- about 6 months behind in getting reimbursed from the State and are also
- dropping like flies. Last summer the State suspended payments to
- school districts for one month. Imagine the nerve of
- Gov. Edgar in taking a few dollars away from a
- motorcycle education program!
